 The Central Virginia Remarkable Woman of the Year Award recognizes women who demonstrate exceptional leadership, service, and community impact. Selected from more than 13,000 applicants nationwide, our Founder and Executive Director was honored for her commitment to empowering women, fostering meaningful connections, and creating lasting change throughout the region. Through the continued growth of Black Girls of RVA™  and her dedication to community service, she exemplifies the power of purpose-driven leadership. 

 The Rising Community Impact Award, presented by Wells Fargo, celebrates the Richmond Region's entrepreneurial spirit by recognizing emerging Black businesses, individuals, and initiatives that have recently established themselves while bringing fresh, authentic, and innovative experiences to the region. These rising leaders represent the vibrant future of Black culture, entrepreneurship, and community impact throughout the Richmond Region. BLK RVA is a subsidiary of The Richmond Region Tourism Organization.

Since 1867, ChamberRVA has been a cornerstone of the Richmond business community, continuing to champion business and economic growth throughout the region. The ChamberRVA ICONS Awards celebrates the Richmond Region’s Rising Stars, Young Professionals, and Organizations making an impact, recognizing individuals age 40 and under who are making a tangible difference in their communities. Among its distinguished honors, the Community Champion Award recognizes young professionals who are creating lasting change through community service and advocacy.
